The MNMusketeers were founded in 2015 in homage to the writings of Alexandre Dumas and his series of books centered around the Adventures of the Three Musketeers.
The movies that have spawned from his books are the inspiration behind the garb that we wear. Disney's 1993 version with their blue and silver lined tunics. The Man in the Iron Mask (1998) with their black tunics with gold and silver fleurs. The BBC series from 2014-2016 The Musketeers with the blue tunics worn over the shoulder and leather pauldrons worn as an identifying mark of the musketeer.
The love of all things Musketeers brings this group of friends together to walk the lanes of local renaissance festivals portraying these iconic characters.
